1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Celebra platform ("Platform", "Service") at celebra.in, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). These Terms apply to all visitors, customers, and registered vendors.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform following any changes to these Terms constitutes acceptance of those changes.
2. Role of Celebra
Celebra is a discovery and connection platform. We provide a marketplace where customers can find event service vendors and contact them directly. Celebra is not a party to any transaction, agreement, or contract between a customer and a vendor.
Celebra does not:
- Guarantee the quality, reliability, or availability of any vendor's services.
- Process payments between customers and vendors.
- Act as an agent, employer, or representative of any vendor.
- Verify every claim made by vendors on their profiles beyond our approval process.
All service agreements are made directly between the customer and the vendor. Celebra facilitates the introduction only.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Platform.
Vendors must be legally authorised to provide the services they list and must comply with all applicable local, state, and national laws in India, including GST registration where required.
4. Accounts & Authentication
Celebra uses a passwordless OTP (one-time password) system. When you enter your email, a 6-digit code is sent to your inbox valid for 5 minutes. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure, as it controls access to your Celebra account.
- You may only hold one account per email address.
- You must not share your OTP codes with anyone.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us immediately at support@celebra.in.
5. Customer Responsibilities
As a customer on Celebra, you agree to:
- Use the platform only for genuine event service enquiries.
- Not contact vendors for purposes unrelated to their listed services.
- Write honest, accurate, and non-defamatory reviews based on real interactions.
- Not harass, threaten, or abuse vendors through the platform's contact features.
- Not attempt to manipulate review scores, including posting fake positive or negative reviews.
6. Vendor Responsibilities
As a registered vendor on Celebra, you agree to the following standards. Failure to comply may result in profile suspension or permanent removal.
- Accuracy: All information on your profile — including business name, services, pricing, location, and photos — must be truthful and kept up to date at all times.
- Responsiveness: Respond to customer enquiries within 24 hours.
- Service delivery: Deliver services as described on your profile. Do not misrepresent scope, quality, or pricing to customers after initial contact.
- Professional conduct: Treat all customers with courtesy and professionalism.
- Compliance: Maintain all necessary business licences and comply with all applicable Indian laws, including consumer protection regulations.
- Photo ownership: Only upload photos that you own or have the right to use. Do not upload copyrighted images belonging to others.
- No fake reviews: You must not solicit, manufacture, or manipulate reviews on your own profile or those of competitors.
⚠️ Profile Approval
All vendor profiles are reviewed before going live. Celebra may conduct in-person verification for certain categories. Listing on Celebra is a privilege, not a right, and may be revoked at our discretion if these standards are not maintained.
7. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on the Celebra platform:
- Creating fake vendor profiles or customer accounts.
- Impersonating another person, business, or Celebra staff.
- Scraping, crawling, or systematically extracting data from the platform.
- Attempting to circumvent authentication, rate limiting, or security measures.
- Uploading malicious code, spam, or harmful content.
- Using the platform to conduct illegal transactions or promote prohibited services.
- Attempting to contact customers or vendors outside the platform using data obtained through the platform without their explicit consent.
- Interfering with another user's experience or with the operation of the platform.
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account termination and, where applicable, referral to law enforcement.
8. Content & Intellectual Property
Your content: By uploading photos, writing reviews, or providing any content to Celebra, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, store, and use that content to operate and promote the platform. You retain ownership of your content.
Platform content: The Celebra name, logo, design, and all original content produced by Celebra (excluding user-generated content) are owned by Celebra and may not be reproduced without written permission.
Reporting infringement: If you believe content on the platform infringes your intellectual property rights, email support@celebra.in.
9. Reviews & Ratings
Reviews are written by customers after interacting with vendors. Celebra does not verify individual reviews but reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these Terms.
- Reviews must be based on a genuine interaction with the vendor.
- Reviews must not contain defamatory, abusive, or false statements.
- Vendors may reply to reviews through their dashboard.
- Celebra may remove reviews that are found to be fake, abusive, or in violation of these Terms after investigation.
- Neither customers nor vendors may offer or accept incentives in exchange for reviews.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Celebra shall not be liable for:
- The quality, safety, or legality of any vendor's services.
- Any disputes, damages, or losses arising from transactions between customers and vendors.
- Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
- Interruptions, errors, or downtime on the platform.
- Unauthorised access to your account due to actions outside our control (e.g., phishing, weak email security).
Celebra's total liability in any matter arising from these Terms shall not exceed ₹1,000 (Indian Rupees one thousand only).
11. Termination
By you: You may stop using the platform at any time. Customers may delete their account from their profile settings. Vendors may delete their business profile from the Vendor Dashboard or submit a removal request.
By Celebra: We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account that violates these Terms, without prior notice, at our discretion. This includes vendors whose profiles are found to contain false information, who receive substantiated complaints, or who engage in prohibited conduct.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including Limitation of Liability, Intellectual Property, and Dispute Resolution) will continue to apply.
12. Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
Vendor–Customer disputes: Celebra is not a party to disputes between customers and vendors. We encourage both parties to resolve disputes directly. If a dispute involves potential fraud or a serious violation of these Terms, you may report it to us at support@celebra.in and we will investigate.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. When changes are made, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. For significant changes, we will notify registered users via email at least 7 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
